Our week long programme of events (November 4th to 10th, 2012) has something for all ages, with the main aim being to give young people a platform to perform. As well as an evening concert series featuring the highest professional talents in the area, the festival holds two competitions for Rainhill’s resident stars of the future (the Rainhill Young Musician of the Year and Battle of the Bands), as well as giving Masterclasses and Workshops to children to encourage their own musical development.

The festival officially launched in October 2010 and from then has gone from strength to strength, offering a wide variety of music that is free for under 16's to attend for the entire week.
